Jason believes that small businesses are the backbone of the economy and deserve far more attention than they're currently getting. Building on this thought, Jason is in the process of building a small business of his own, dedicated to helping other small businesses in his hometown of Reno by building them personalized websites to give businesses a fresh look.

Jason knew the pain of losing a pet when he lost his German Shepherd, Ranger, to cancer. Far too many dogs die from cancer, and Jason wants that to end. That's why he and his brother are in the process of establishing myRanger, a non-profit that works with researchers to combat cancer in dogs.

Uplift the Homeless Now
Jason become an advocate for the homeless after learning more about the issue and seeing the societal stigma surrounding homeless people as he grew up. Jason founded Uplift the Homeless Now to combat such stigma, advocate for policy solutions to combat the housing crisis and expand public health resources for the most vulnerable.

Jason ran for Vice President of his National Honor Society chapter at his alma mater, Robert McQueen High School. His campaign focused on strengthening the four pillars of the organization and spreading civic awareness among his peers.
